I should be glad to know whether taxation,

taking evidence de bene esse, and other magisterial work in the Registry, are done entirely by yourself, or whether any of this work is done by the Deputy Registrars. I assume that Mr.—— Lea-Jones, from long experience is fully qualified to undertake it; but I should he glad to know whether Mr. Melbourne is equally competent.
